We are proud to have Krystal on staff at Muscles and Curves. She has the same passion for fitness that has fueled our gym for nearly 30 years. She is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a Certified Health & Wellness Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute. She is also a yoga instructor with extensive knowledge in human anatomy and a background in massage therapy.  To ensure the safety and well-being of her clients, she is CPR and AED certified through the American Red Cross. Let’s hear what she has to say:

My goal through personal training is to help educate and encourage others along their journey so they can reach their optimal health as they strive to be the best version of themselves they can be. My belief is that we have to start each day where we are in our personal journey, not dwell in the past, project ourselves into the future, or compare ourselves to others, but instead acknowledge and speak positive affirmations into our own lives about our accomplishments. I believe physical health is intertwined with your state of mind. For this, and many other reasons, I enjoy practicing yoga as it offers self-reflection and continued growth through self-awareness. Through my own personal journey, I can relate to extreme weight gain and loss. By educating myself and making healthier nutritional choices, leading a more active lifestyle, and removing toxic stress from my life, I've regained my health not only physically but mentally and emotionally, as well. I am a believer and child of Christ and the mother of a beautiful little girl whom I adore. I was born and raised here in East Texas and I'm proud to call it home.
